It's official - Erin Nylen is now an appointed member of Hurley's Climate Smart Task Force. We're so glad to have Erin join us and introduce her to you.

Erin Nylen Joins Cimate Smart Task Force

Erin moved into Hurley last year and works for Scenic Hudson, an environmental organization dedicated to protecting the natural resources at the heart of the Hudson Valley's health and prosperity.

"I've worked in the communications department at Scenic Hudson for a year and a half (and I love it!), " says Erin, and in her free time, she volunteers at the Ulster County SPCA, enjoys crossword puzzles, novels, and hiking.

Prior to relocating to Hurley, Erin held positions in development and communications at the Environmental Defense Fund, Candid (formerly Foundation Center), and Bideawee. She has an MS in Nonprofit Management from the New School in New York City, and a BA in English Literature from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts.

Erin will lend her expertise to our media outreach while working with the task force on other priority projects. Welcome and thank you for participating. It's such a pleasure to work with this team.
