This Sunday's Car Show & Expo at Town Hall 10/10/21

We've got a great expo lined up for you this Sunday. There may be some showers, but we will be outside in the parking lot and indoors at the Hurley Town Hall with informative exhibits and activities. Please share this post with your friends and neighbors.

There will be a few short presentations during the day, between 11:30 and 12, and 1:15 and 2:30. I'll be doing complimentary airbrush tattoos, kids first, indoors from about 12:30 - 1:15. If you are curious about installing heat pumps in your home, growing your own pollinator garden, or buying an electric/hybrid car, this Expo is a MUST. If you have already done so, let your neighbors know how it is working out.

Talk to neighbors at the Car Show about their experiences driving and owning EV's & hybrid cars and maybe arrange a ride. The Saving Woody craft table features learning about how climate change affects birds, origami woodpeckers, pollinator gardens. Make a seed mixture to plant in the Town of Hurley's new garden, and a seed packets to take home.

Come share your ideas and concerns, mingle with your neighbors, and let's talk and learn about doable, meaningful things we can do right here in Hurley to lower greenhouse gas emissions and prepare for a changing environment.
