Many Thanks to our Volunteers

Planning this expo was a great experience. A new pollinator garden was planted & many enjoyed talking to EV car owners, learning about heat pumps and more. Big thank you to the rest of the team, Kristen Schara and Andy Shapiro, to Town Board Members Melinda McKnight, Peter Humphries and Mike Boms for volunteering; to Chloe Rychcik of Sustainable Hudson Valley, Laura Husted of Citizens' Climate Lobby Mid Hudson Chapter-19 for their exhibits; to Energy Navigator Jim Greenhall of Cornell Ext Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County and Ray Cotto from Central Hudson for all the great info about heat pumps and getting them installed.

For the Pollinator Garden to get set up we needed help with the planning and rototilling. Thank you to Highway Superintendent Mike Shultis for volunteering to do the rototilling, and to Hurley resident and Hurley Heritage Society volunteer and Cornell Master Gardener Dale Bohan for the planning.

Here's a 1-minute look around the H-EV Car Show. Thank you Andy Shapiro for setting this up, and to Bill McKnight for the video.

And here's a 2-minute look around at the beginning of the Expo. Video courtesy Bill McKnight.
